JAM ANTIK C0103
This clock was made by the famous German clockmaker Winterhalder & Hoffmeier (W&H) and dates from around 1880. The case is solid Oak wood. On the sides of the case a stripe effect can be seen in the wood grain. This effect is often called Tiger Oak. The front is decorated with panels of superbly patterned gilded bronze. The dial surround is of silvered brass with engraved numerals. The dial is protected by a glass door. The case is in excellent condition. The 8 day movement is also in superb condition having been recently fully restored to function nearly in as-new condition. It strikes the hours and half hours. New mainsprings imported from Europe were fitted.
