JAM ANTIK C0119
This rare clock is one of the first types of battery electric clocks. It was originally developed in France by Maurice Favre-Bulle around 1915. These type of clock are known a “Bulle clocks“. This particular clock was made in 1930 (from serial number). Not many of this type were made so it is quite rare. The company making these clocks went out of business in 1954 when the original owner (and inventor of these clocks) died. This clock is made from Birch wood. The movement has been fully restored to original condition. New silk suspension and rewired. The clock will run for 12-18 months before the battery requires replacement.
