JAM ANTIK C0129
This chiming wall clock was made by the Warmink company in Holland probably around 1970-1978. It is a modern version of the classic Dutch Friesland Staartclock. The movement was made by Wuba, a Dutch company that made very good quality movements exclusively for Warmink. From the late 1970’s Warmink used cheaper imported movements of lessor quality and stopped using Wuba, who ceased making clock movements. Clock case is Walnut. Details are of brass. Clock face is hand painted with a moon-phase indicator. The clock generally is in exceptional condition. The movement is almost like new and appears to be barely used. Could be described as “NOS” New Old Stock! Clock chimes on the hour with the Westminster chime. Movement has been oiled and checked.
