JAM ANTIK C0131
Probably made in the 1920’s or early 1930’s, this dome shaped chiming clock is made from Mahogany wood. Glass door opens to an engraved brass dial plate. Rotating indicators control the chiming and fast/slow. Case has been completely refinished with shellac (as it was originally). Quality movement has been fully and carefully restored and has new (German) mainsprings. Although there is no makers logo on the movement it was most probably made by Kenzle in Germany. Kenzle marketed an identical clock with identical movement (complete with logo!). The political situation around this time make German clocks difficult to sell in some countries so many clockmakers in Germany produced unmarked clocks for those markets.
